For successful online marketing, there exist thousands of different advice you can grab and try. Some strategies work better for some marketers while entirely different ways of conquering the market fit in better in other cases.

Products are different. Marketers are different, and markets can differ considerably. With so many variables to take into account, it’s logical that also the strategies and tactics need to follow different routes.
When you jump into your car to drive somewhere, you have a destiny to reach as your final goal of the drive. To make that happen, you need to handle the steering wheel in the right way, and you need to get some speed by pushing the accelerator.

Whatever your product or service might be, your final goal is always to get customers to buy your product. You need action to get people to purchase your product.
Too often you come across vendors trying to sell their stuff the hard way. Discounts, “special price only for you,” and threatening you by using different methods. Frequently, these methods are not very serious and can even be pure lies. Do you buy it? Nop…
In a previous article, we went through the importance of a customer need. Without a basic need of the product, it’s impossible to create any interest in the stuff. It can be something “cool,” that you have thought about earlier without any idea of acquiring the product yourself. Do you buy now? Could be, but probably it stays to a created interest and nothing else.
The reason is that you are not convinced. You still don’t see the need for the product. There is no desire from your side to spend money on the stuff the vendor is offering. It’s like trying to sell an HD TV screen to a blind person.
Interest and selling are two different things
As an old vacuum cleaner salesman, nobody wanted to buy my product, and the objections or arguments could be many. The whole scenario changed when I got the opportunity to show the customer his or her need. The proof to show the customer is simple but extremely convincible. When cleaning the customers home and leaving multiple dust piles on the carpets, you can convert a “no-need” to an “urgent need” in a couple of minutes.
Today’s digital world offers a vast opportunity for online marketers. People are often surfing around on Internet without any defined purpose. You find something randomly that catch your attention. Not necessarily you have a need for the product, but something is sticking out that stops your Internet surfing for a while.
To catch somebody’s interest should never be mixed with selling. You just want people to stay by for a minute. No matter the political opinion you might have, but Donald Trump is an expert on getting people’s attention. For successful online marketing, this part of the process is crucial. You must build trust with the potential customer.

When I started my online marketing journey, surfing around on the Internet, something was sticking out that caught my attention. It didn’t have anything to do with the business that later should be an essential part of my new lifestyle.
