I’m an entrepreneur and marathon runner, and I love to explore the world.

This is a kind of pre-post before we start the blog for “real,” and I would like to tell you why this blog will be useful.

Exactly like you, I’m battling every day to become better in all aspects, as a person, as a professional, as a father, as a grandfather, as a husband, as a runner, as a citizen, and as a human being. There are many different roles to play, and I’m sure you have at least as many as I have and probably more.

As you can notice above and what you probably have seen when visiting my website www.thegoldenagelifestyle.com, one important passion in my life is marathon running. It actually started as a pressure I put on myself to be disciplined in my training habits. My argument was that 3km, 5km, 10km, and even a half marathon, whoever can do with certain basic physical conditions. However, it is nearly impossible to fulfill a 42,175-meter, 26.3-mile marathon without at least 6 to 8 months of disciplined and well-organized training.

Create a plan

This kind of disciplined and organized training has a lot in common with the necessary qualities you will need as a successful entrepreneur. In both cases, it is necessary with a Plan.

It’s easy to say but so difficult to do. Throughout our lives, many desires and dreams come across us, but to be honest, most of them stay in the dream phase. Why? Either we are not passionate enough or too lazy to go after the dream and let it happen. We do not make a Plan.

Throughout my life, I have had many dreams and desires. Many of them became true, but unfortunately, some never saw the light of day. This applies to both the personal and professional side.

As human beings, we are experts to come up with excuses like, I have no time; in fact, it is the most stupid excuse we can raise. Time is the only 100% democratic variable in life.

No matter gender, age, race, financial status, or any other quality, we all have 24 hours per day, day out and day in. The marvelous characteristic of Time is that we know beforehand that we will have 24 hours at our disposal.

Let your plan be a tool and not an excuse

What is then behind this very common excuse, “I have no time”? Planning, my friends.

I do recognize, however, that it is a continued battle to implement the necessary Plans, both personally and professionally.

I will write about the struggle we all face to become better planners and people — and how to improve our good habits to maximize our quality of life.

It will not be easy. If it were, there would be no reason to start a blog about it. That said, you can already see how we are going to battle against time, all to improve the quality of life—this is the reason for the name of the blog…..

Welcome to Life-Race …… within 5 days, we start the first “real” post.
