Latest update for a happy and wealthy life

Who wants to have a happy and wealthy life? If your answer is a resounding ‘YES,’ I want…then this is for you.

While there are countless articles and YouTube videos on this topic, I’ve noticed a common thread. They all lack a crucial element: a comprehensive approach to creating the happy and wealthy life we all desire. This is where my unique perspective comes in.

Being self-critical, I have produced various articles and videos falling into the same trap. In my latest article, for example, “Why the Digital Freedom Lifestyle Is Perfect for Life After 60,” we touch on the topic, but only within one of the five circles. In other articles, we analyze the other 4 circles.

Today, we will tie it all together.

Create a Happy and Wealthy Life With the 5 Circles

The five essential circles that create a happy and wealthy life must be interconnected to achieve the desired goal. By missing one, all make the mission hard to reach. The order in which the circles are presented also indicates in which order you should attend the corresponding tasks.

The Well-Being Circle

With this circle, it all begins. Without heart, purpose, and, at the end, wealth ( which often isn’t what you think), the rest of the four circles seldom come into place.

  • Health – having good health can be compared to having your car serviced before embarking on a long road trip. Eat well, drink plenty of water, and stay active through regular exercise. It doesn’t have to be any exaggeration. Just keep an eye on what you eat and, for example, aim to take 10,000 steps per day. Go out for a run, a long walk, walk the dog…just do something.
  • Purpose whatever you do in life, there should always be a defined purpose behind it. Many people do things out of obligation, under pressure from the social environment, or due to other external factors that influence them. Especially when you become a retiree, there is a reason to do things you like, such as taking up an old hobby, volunteering, or starting the side hustle you’ve always dreamed of.
  • Wealth what’s the difference between being rich and being wealthy? Being rich means having a lot of money or a high income. Rich people often spend a significant amount on expensive cars, luxurious vacations, and large homes. A wealthy persons have time freedom and assets that generate income. It’s all about financial independence and having control over your time and lifestyle. The formula Income = Spendings + Savings applies to wealth.

The Resource Circle

  • Time – Time is a precious resource, because it’s fixed, regardless of your age, gender, nationality, race, or any other factor. We all have 24 hours a day, not a second more and not a second less. What you do with your 24 hours is entirely up to you. Daily, we have to make decisions on how much time to spend on specific activities. That’s the reality, and when prioritizing the daily to-do list, it’s about allocating the time.
  • Energy – Returning to the previous circle, “well-being,” if you are in good health, your energy, both physical and mental, depends highly on your health. Add motivation to the energy variable, and we can conclude this part. Motivation is an incredible ingredient that can often generate a high level of energy. Engaging in activities that don’t motivate you can easily drain your energy.
  • Money – If you view money as a tool, it’s easier to understand the importance of money as a necessary resource. Most projects or ideas require a certain amount of money to make them possible to realize. However, money should never be the only or indispensable tool. A lack of sufficient monetary resources can be supplemented by more time, energy, or both.

The Construction Circle

  • Learning -Learning is the cornerstone of success in life. It’s not just about acquiring new knowledge, but also about embracing new and sometimes tedious but necessary tasks. Learning is the foundation of progress.
  • Building foundation – With learning as a base, the building part can start. Whether it’s a business, community, or general service, you have learned the basics to progress. On the other hand, if you don’t use your learned skills to do something, then why learning it?
  • Grow – As a natural continuation of the foundation layer, there is the growth part. To grow is a unique human habit. No one strives for a status quo. We want to improve and be better in areas that motivate and sometimes force us to do so.

The Financial Circle

  • Earn – In our society, no one will survive without an inflow of money. It can be income from work, earnings from a business, or a subsidy from any source. Again, money is something necessary in life, like it or not.
  • Save – part of your earned money should be earmarked for saving. It could be to build a reserve for future unexpected expenses or to create an asset that will increase your wealth passively.
  • Invest -To invest money means “spending” money on something which hopefully will give a future positive rate of return. It can be an investment in the stock market, or in a business, to just give two examples. Returning to the initial concept of “well-being,” you can now see how it is linked to finances. Indeed, money isn’t everything in life, but it does play a significant role in your overall well-being.

The Action Circle

In every market, niche, or any part of society, there is a demand or need for a specific product or service. On the other side, we find the party providing the demanded product or service. It’s here where the value is created in the Action Circle.

  • Like to do – Make a random list of things you like to do. It could be anything that generates enthusiasm, motivation, and positivity while doing it. You can wake up every morning and spend the whole day doing it, because it passions you.
  • Good at – Make a new list of things you are really good at. It can be things that appear coincidentally on the previous list of things you like to do, but not necessarily. Put these two lists together and find out what activities, “like to do,” and Good at” overlap with each other.
  • People willing to pay for – Finally, and this is the amazing part, add a new layer that includes things people are willing to pay for. It can be a product that fulfills certain characteristics, as well as a service, based on your knowledge, skills, and experience.
